So much has happened in the last two years and we are overwhelmed with God’s faithfulness towards Solid Rock. Not only have our regularly scheduled programs been continuing and growing, but we are also making huge progress in our Capital Campaign. On May 25, 2023 we held our Reveal Party where we unveiled the news that Solid Rock was purchasing a building. And now, only three years later, we have completed Phase 1, paid off the entire building and started First Floor renovations! God is good and our community has been such an incredible part of His blessing on Solid Rock.

As we continue in Phase Two of our Same Rock, New Block Capital Campaign, we are excited to start the physical work of “Preparing a Place”. With these Phase Two renovations for the First Floor, we will be preparing a place for lots of fun and lots of events to happen. But most importantly, we are preparing a place where youth and families across Solanco will be impacted by the the joy and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We will be including a mural like the one below in our multipurpose room- a painted mountain made up of individual rocks.

Each rock will represent an individual or group of people* from our community
who have helped contribute to what Solid Rock is becoming in this second
phase of our capital campaign.

This isn't just a decoration. It's a story on a wall.
A story of people who have joined us in our mission
to help youth and families thrive through gospel-centered ministries.

At the top of the mountain will be a cross - reminding us that it is
Christ who is the Solid Rock on which we stand.

What will start as just a painted mural will become a visible picture of our community
coming together to build something that will impact students and families for years to come.
